The Nextion Intelligent series displays without an enclosure do not come with a loudspeaker, but there is nothing stopping you from connecting one and allowing the Nextion display to play sounds.
To make sure that the Nextion HMI display works properly, increase the operating current of the display power supply by 0.5 A. For example, the official power supply recommendation for the NX4827P043-011R is DC 5 V / 1.0 A, if you want to use the Nextion BOX speaker, the input current should be increased from 1.0 A to 1.5A to ensure stable operation.
