The Idea for the Arduino Store

The idea for the store arose as a solution to the problem of a lack of access to Arduino technology and products. As an electronics enthusiast working in the field professionally every day, I used to order products from China. Unfortunately, as it quickly turned out, shipping was only cost-effective when the number of ordered goods was larger. Thus, the idea for a store with Arduino items was born. The store has been operating since January 2011.

Arduino is an electronic system often called a development board. It's a platform originating from the intersection of software and electronics, facilitating the design and building of electronic circuits. The main advantages of Arduino are: small size, a multitude of input and output systems, and an open license.
