Operating principle and interfaces
The module supports sending Modbus RTU commands via the RS485 bus to collect measurement data. It is equipped with 3 built-in LEDs to facilitate instant monitoring of the microcontroller status as well as signal transmission and reception status.
The device can measure current and voltage on four independent channels: (IN1+ IN1-), (IN2+ IN2-), (IN3+ IN3-), and (IN4+ IN4-). Current measurements are bidirectional (inputs and outputs can also be reversed) and are based on reading the potential difference across a built-in resistor connected in series between INx+ and INx-.
Important note: When measuring signals from different power sources, it is absolutely required to connect a common ground (GND). Otherwise, bus voltage measurement will not be possible, and the system will only measure the differential voltage and current.
Convenient DIN rail mounting
A robust enclosure with a rail-mount clip allows for quick and secure installation on a standard 35 mm DIN rail. This design facilitates the implementation of the device in professional control cabinets and industrial automation, while also providing the ability to easily connect additional modules.
