Two-Axis Pan-Tilt Camera Module for Raspberry Pi
The Two-Axis Pan-Tilt Camera Module utilizes high-torque servomechanisms with two degrees of freedom (DOF), providing a wide range of motion in both the horizontal PAN (±180°, totaling 360°) and vertical TILT (-45° to 90°, totaling 135°) axes. This significantly expands the camera's coverage area. The module is based on a universal robot controller board and is compatible with Raspberry Pi 4B/5, offering increased hardware flexibility. Users can easily control Pan & Tilt movements and image capturing functions through an open-source web control demo in Google Chrome. Besides basic photo and video recording functions, the camera also features face and motion detection, enabling smarter and more precise monitoring. The module uses high-precision direct-drive servos with 360° 12-bit magnetic encoders for angle measurement, allowing for accurate closed-loop control and management.
