CAN HAT+ two-channel isolated CAN module for Raspberry Pi - MCP2515 + SN65HVD230
The CAN HAT+ extension is a two-channel isolated CAN communication module designed with the Raspberry Pi in mind. Based on the MCP2515 and SN65HVD230 chips, it provides reliable and stable CAN communication, with built-in protection and the ability to operate over a wide voltage range. The module is easily expandable thanks to its HAT+ design, making it ideal for industrial and hobbyist projects.

Key features:
- Compatible with Raspberry Pi 2B/3B/3B+/4B/5 and Zero/Zero W/Zero WH
- Standard HAT+ format with EEPROM memory
- Support for 2 CAN bus channels with MCP2515 and SN65HVD230 chips
- Built-in galvanic isolation of the power supply - no need for an additional power supply for the isolated side
- Digital signal isolation - higher safety, stability and noise immunity
- SM24CANB protection circuit - ESD and surge protection
- Jumper selectable logic level (3.3V/5V)
- Terminating resistor 120Ω - jumper-activated
- SPI interface terminals - allows connection e.g. to STM32 or Arduino
- Documentation support and example codes available online
