Industrial SX1262 LoRa Data Transfer Unit (DTU) for DIN Rail – RS232/RS485/RS422 to LoRa, Sub-GHz Band
The SX1262-LoRa-DTU wireless data transfer module is designed for DIN rail mounting, based on the SX1262 chip. It enables the conversion of communication from RS232, RS485, and RS422 interfaces to the wireless LoRa standard. LoRa technology provides high anti-interference capability and a long transmission range (up to 5 km), making it an ideal solution for data acquisition in industrial and agricultural environments. It supports point-to-point, point-to-multipoint communication, relay networking, and AES encryption.

Key Features:
- Compatibility with RS232, RS485, RS422 interfaces (not simultaneously, and they cannot be converted to each other within the same DTU)
- LoRa modulation and demodulation technology – high anti-interference and long range (up to 5 km)
- SX1262 chip – -148dBm reception sensitivity and 22dBm transmit power
- Supports Sub-GHz bands (410~510MHz, 850~930MHz)
- Built-in functions: preamble detection, CRC, automatic packetization, 960 bytes buffer
- Support for LBT (Listen Before Talk) – improves transmission success in difficult environments
- RSSI (Receive Signal Strength Indication) output – signal quality assessment
- AES encryption – ensures data transmission security
- Supports multi-level relay networking – increases range
- Industrial DIN rail housing – easy installation, compact size
- Interface protections: RS485 – 600W lightning arrester, TVS, anti-surge; RS232 – TVS, anti-surge, ESD; RS422 – anti-surge
- Wide power supply range: 6V ~ 28V DC (or 12V DC), reverse polarity protection
- High-quality components (e.g., TCXO) – stable operation in harsh conditions
- Configuration via AT commands
Supports RS232 / RS485 / RS422 to LoRa
Allows easy integration of devices communicating via standard serial protocols into a wireless LoRa network.

DIN Rail Mount LoRa Data Transfer Unit
Industrial design, small size, easy and cost-effective installation.

LoRa Spread Spectrum Technology
Compared to traditional communication, Chirp Spread Spectrum (CSS) and Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) technologies significantly improve range and anti-interference, often used in military and industrial communication.
AES Encryption
Ensures transmission security. Devices with encryption enabled and the same key can communicate correctly.
AT Command Mode
Users can easily send AT commands to check the module's current status or configure its operating parameters.

Listen Before Talk (LBT)
The module actively monitors ambient noise. If it exceeds the threshold, transmission is delayed, which improves communication success in difficult environments.
Receive Signal Strength Indication (RSSI)
The RSSI function allows continuous monitoring of the received signal strength (data) and the ambient noise level. This information is available on the serial port, allowing the user to precisely evaluate connection quality, optimize network topology, and perform more accurate distance measurements. The ability to read ambient noise is also crucial for the manual implementation of the LBT (Listen Before Talk) function.

Important Communication and Installation Notes
This product does not support the LoRaWAN protocol. The module only allows communication with SX1262-LoRa-DTU-xF and USB-TO-LoRa-xF devices. A minimum of 2 SX1262-LoRa-DTU modules are required to form a LoRa communication network (applies to HF and LF versions).
The antenna cable, serial interface cables (RS485, RS232, or RS422) should be connected sequentially, and finally, connect the DC 12V power supply or use the terminals (only one power source needs to be connected).
