Compact Zigbee light dimmer 3.0 designed for installation in wall boxes, offering smooth brightness control for LED, incandescent, and halogen lamps. The device supports real-time energy consumption monitoring and works with popular smart home ecosystems such as Home Assistant, Alexa, and Google Assistant. A Zigbee gateway 3.0 compatible with the SONOFF / eWeLink app is required for operation.

Supported lighting types

The SONOFF MINI-ZBDIM dimmer is designed to work with many popular light sources used in home installations. As a result, it can be used in both modernized and new smart lighting systems.

Zigbee gateway required

The device communicates using the Zigbee standard, therefore for remote control, scene support, and automation a Zigbee gateway 3.0 is required compatible with the SONOFF / eWeLink app, e.g., SONOFF ZBBridge Pro, NSPanel Pro, or SONOFF iHost.

MINI-ZBDIM also works with Home Assistant via ZHA or Zigbee2MQTT, allowing it to be part of an extensive home automation system.

Precise dimming and calibration

MINI-ZBDIM offers smooth brightness adjustment without flickering, which translates into greater user comfort and better cooperation with compatible fixtures. The automatic or manual calibration function allows you to match the dimming characteristics to a specific light source, improving operational stability across the entire adjustment range.

Energy monitoring and thermal protection

The device constantly measures power consumption and synchronizes energy usage data, which facilitates cost control and analysis of connected lighting circuits. A built-in TC temperature sensor detects overheating, warns the user, and safely cuts off power if necessary.

Extended Zigbee range

As a mains-powered device, MINI-ZBDIM can support the stability of the Zigbee Mesh network and improve communication with other devices in the installation. This is a useful solution in larger smart home systems where reliable range and a stable connection are important.

Supported external switch types

SONOFF MINI-ZBDIM works with various types of wall switches, which facilitates the modernization of an existing installation without the need to replace all equipment. Before use, set the appropriate switch mode by triple-pressing the device button or via the eWeLink app.

• Single rocker switch (1-way): S1 or S2 – short press turns on / off.
• Single momentary button (1-way): S1 or S2 – short press turns on / off; hold to brighten or dim.
• Double momentary button (2-way): S1 – short press turns on, long press increases brightness; S2 – short press turns off, long press decreases brightness.
• Triple momentary button (3-way): S1 – short press increases brightness in steps, long press increases smoothly; middle key – on / off; S2 – short press decreases brightness in steps, long press decreases smoothly.

By default, for double and triple buttons, S1 is responsible for turning on and brightening, and S2 for turning off and dimming. This assignment can be changed in the eWeLink app.

Wiring instructions

The dimmer is designed for in-wall mounting indoors. Installation must be performed in accordance with the manufacturer's diagram and in compliance with the load parameters for the connected light source.
