SONOFF Hydro ONE SWV-ZFE is a smart water valve with a flow meter, designed for garden irrigation automation. It supports Zigbee 3.0 and Bluetooth Low Energy, offers time and volume-based schedules, flow measurement from 2 to 45 l/min, and an IP55-rated enclosure.

Remote control via Zigbee
To control the valve via the Internet, operate the device outside of Bluetooth range, and integrate with Smart Home automation, a compatible Zigbee gateway working with SONOFF devices is required. The gateway transmits communication between the valve, the app, and the home Internet network.
The range of available integrations and remote functions depends on the gateway used and the automation system it supports.
Local control via Bluetooth
SONOFF Hydro ONE can be operated locally using Bluetooth Low Energy. This control method requires a direct connection between the phone and the valve and being within its range.
Bluetooth does not replace the Zigbee gateway for Internet control. However, it is useful for configuration, maintenance, and local operation of the device in case of a lost connection to the gateway.
Precise irrigation schedules
The valve allows for the preparation of up to 6 operating schedules. Irrigation can be carried out for a specific time or until a set volume of water has passed, which makes it easier to match watering to the type of plants and the size of the irrigated area.
An interval mode is also available, in which the valve cyclically opens and closes the flow according to set operating and pause periods. Seasonal adjustment allows you to quickly change the time or amount of water without rebuilding all schedules.
Flow measurement and water consumption control
The built-in flow meter measures flow in the range from 2 to 45 l/min. Data on the amount of water used allows you to monitor the watering process, compare individual cycles, and more easily detect irregularities in the installation.
If the set volume of water is not passed within the expected time, for example due to low pressure, the valve can finish operation so as not to disrupt subsequent scheduled cycles.
Alerts and installation protection
The device allows for monitoring the installation's operating conditions and informing the user about detected irregularities. Available alerts include, among others, lack of water, abnormal flow, potential leaks, low temperature, and low battery level.

Compatibility with Smart Home automation
The Zigbee 3.0 protocol allows the valve to be connected to a compatible gateway and to create automations with other devices. Remote control, scenes, and integrations require a gateway that supports the SONOFF Hydro ONE SWV-ZFE.
The ability to work with Apple Home, Matter, Home Assistant, or other systems depends on the functions of the Zigbee gateway or bridge used and the currently supported integrations.

Important operational information
