Precision of 24 GHz technology and detection calibration
The sensor continuously emits radar waves in the 24 GHz band, which guarantees significantly higher detection efficiency than traditional PIR sensors or older 5,8 GHz radars. After enabling the calibration function, the SNZB-06P24 autonomously learns the movement patterns of stationary objects nearby. This effectively eliminates false alarms generated by fans, operating household appliances, or water pipes.
Zone configuration and lighting automation
In the eWeLink app, the user has full freedom in managing the range. The module allows you to enable and disable individual spatial zones. Combining presence detection with the indicators of the built-in light sensor allows for the creation of advanced energy-saving scenarios – devices turn on only when you are present and natural light is insufficient.
Important usage notes
- The device may not reliably detect people during deep sleep due to the small amplitude of chest movements.
- For a completely motionless person, the highest detection efficiency occurs at a distance of up to 3 meters directly in front of the device.
- Pets may trigger the sensor. If you want to avoid detecting pets, point the device head slightly upwards.
- The interference filtering function applies to stationary objects. If the interfering object, e.g., a fan, changes position, recalibration must be performed.
